I moved to Egypt to make this series of papier mache sculptures. The shape of each one is the result of the interrelationship between the size of the of cymbal-like disk at its centre and the capacity of my hugging arms. Some are complete while others are still in progress. To read more about them please follow this link to a collection of letters I wrote to Pangaea Sculptors’ Centre while living in Tunis Village, Fayoum.

Installation at the Ethnographic Museum of Vall D’Alba, site of the collaborative Pangaea Artists’ Residency, Castellon.
I participated alongside artists  Katrin Hanusch and Lucy Tomlins and curator Àngels Miralda.
Summer 2019.

When the sculptures are complete I will temporarily install them here.
